8.-13. July

Ravnbar is the social meeting point during the festival.

Here you can buy your tickets for the performances, enjoy cold drinks or just hang out with your new festival friends.

You find Ravnbar at Aladdin in Kongensgate 3.

At Ravnedans we have Ravnbad every morning which means we have a collective morning swim by the sea to wake up our bodies and minds. So if you visit Ravnedans make sure to bring your own swimsuit (our buy one with Ravnedans logo on) and join.

Once all the venues are set we will come back to you with locations and all you need to know.

Festival Camp and accommodation

Yes, we have a camp!

The camp is named Roligheden camping and is located 20 minutes walk from the city centre. It is a beautiful camping where you can bring your tent and camp by the sea for 100 NOK pr night. If you want to camp here you can contact us and we will help you further.

If you don't like to sleep in a tent we can recommend you to book your stay at Yes! Hotel. Contact us and we will give you a code that give you a better price.

Where is Kristiansand?

Kristiansand is a small cute town in the southern part of Norway. The city is well known for the beautiful summer weather, small cute cabins by the sea and the very tasty Sørlandschips. And of course, Ravnedans.

How do I get to Kristiansand?

You can travel to Kristiansand by plane, train, bus, car, bicycle, boat or by walk (takes a while. Depends where you are coming from) If you travel from Europe or rest of the world and travel on a budget we recommend you to take a plane to Oslo and then take a bus or train to Kristiansand. The bus or train will bring you to Kristiansand in around four and a half hour and will cost you between 100 - 500 NOK one way. If you book your trip early you can have a one way trip with konkurrenten.no for 111 NOK one way.

Do you want to join our volunteer team this summer?

Dates: from 04.07 to 16.07

We need volunteers in the planning phase, during the festival, and a few days after it ends. We're looking primarily for volunteers who can work the whole, or larger part of the period, but please also contact us if you have the opportunity to join for shorter parts of the festival only. As a volunteer at Ravnedans you will work with professional dancers, technicians, sound and lighting designers and educators from all over the world.
