OPEN CALL RAVNEDANS 2026
Dates for the festival: End June 2026, TBA, Kristiansand, Norway.

For Ravnedans 2026 we are looking for performances, as well as other artistic concepts suitable to a festival format.
Genre: Contemporary Dance / Performance Art / Concepts for sites
Who: Applicants must be professional stage performers.
Applicants must be at a professional level, but we welcome a wide range of artists with regards to experience, age, background and needs. Please feel free to surprise us, or to offer things outside of our expectations.
Application language: Scandinavian or English
The festival covers: Performance fees, travel fees, travel, food and accommodation
Venues: Mid size Black Box, outdoor site, other sites
The festival has always been present in several spaces all around the city. In addition to pieces for a mid size Black Box, we are searching for performances that can be hosted in or adapted to spaces such as galleries, “gymsal”, churches, backyards, bars, garages, town squares as well as nature sites such as a forest or by the sea shore.

OTHER CONCEPTS
As well as performances, we are also looking for applicants with an artistic and/or social creative concept that can be adapted for Ravnedans. This can be workshops, artistic interventions, installations, readings, party concepts etc. We are open to different formats in terms of duration and how to use a location. We would be interested in works that engage with the local community by working and presenting in different sites in the city of Kristiansand.
