Arbeidet SHERE er en danserisk forhandling av spørsmålet; i en visningskontekst - hva jobber en utøver med når den jobber?
I en tid med en overveldende informasjonsstrøm og et kunstfelt som - i alle fall tidvis - forsvarer seg med en etterklang av postmodernismens formidlingsverktøy, gjenstår den bevegelige kroppen som et sjeldent håndgripelig og konkret rom for meningsfull mellommenneskelighet. Kan synliggjøre verktøyene og strategiene som tas i bruk for å generere dette potensialet?
Hver visning etterfølges av en samtale med en lokal utøver. Samtalen vil ikke dreie seg eksplisitt om verket, men er ment å være en faglig behandling av spørsmål verket beskjeftiger seg med, med utgangspunkt i praksisen til Sebastian Biong og gjesten han inviterer inn. Sånn sett er det et ønske at prosjektet også kan bli en plattform for kunnskapsutvikling om det utøvende faget.

The work SHERE is a danced negotiation of the question; in a performance context – what is the work of a performer when they perform?
In a time with overwhelming streams of information and an art field that, at least occasionally, defends itself through the aftermath of postmodern tools of dissemination, the moving body remains uniquely available and tangible, as a space of meaningful interpersonal relating. Can we illuminate the tools and strategies that are used to generate this potential?
Following each performance, there will be a conversation with Sebastian Biong and a local atist. The conversation will not explicitly centre around the work, but is meant to be a way of questions the subject matter of the work, using the practice of Biong and the invited artist as points of departure. Therefor, it is also a desire for the platform to serve as a platform for new knowledge about the labor of performing/performance.
